Morin Jewelers hosts the buying event Tuesday, October 27 through Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 409 Main Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Hours are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday and 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Thursday. No appointment is needed.
What can I sell at the buying event?
Gold, silver and platinum jewelry (broken pieces included), diamonds and gemstones, signed designer jewelry, scrap gold and sterling silver, coins and currency, luxury and vintage watches, sterling flatware, estate rarities, fine art and collectibles.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in any time during event hours, Tuesday through Thursday. If you have a large collection or several boxes of items, a quick call ahead helps us set aside time for you.
Is there any cost or obligation?
None. Evaluations are free, and you're never obligated to sell. Many people come simply to learn what they own — that's welcome.
What should I bring with my items?
Just the items themselves. If you have original boxes, papers, certificates, or receipts, bring them along — they can add to the offer, but they're not required.
Do you buy broken or damaged pieces?
Yes. Broken chains, single earrings, bent rings, missing stones, and worn or tarnished silver are all evaluated and purchased. Please don't pay to have anything repaired or cleaned before you visit.
How is the offer determined?
Precious metals are tested and weighed against current market prices. Diamonds are graded on site. Watches, coins, and collectibles are valued on brand, rarity, condition, and demand. The specialist explains every offer to you.
How and when do I get paid?
Immediately, once you accept an offer. You can also choose to take payment as Morin Jewelers store credit and receive a 20% bonus on top.
How does the 20% store-credit bonus work?
If you would rather take Morin Jewelers store credit than payment, we add 20% to your offer. You can put it toward a new piece, a repair or a custom design.

National Rarities is a nationwide estate-buying company that partners with trusted independent jewelers to host in-store buying events. Their estate specialists work alongside our own GIA-trained team throughout the three days.
